From the Archive - Colombia film

Here are a few frames I discovered from my recent trip down to Colombia. The camera I shot these with was handed down to me from my father. It's an old Japanese camera he picked up at a flea market in Philadelphia way back in the '60s. The images always leave me with a nostalgic feeling, like they were taken 50 years ago, tucked away in a shoebox in an attic and just rediscovered again by a new generation, type of feeling.

These images are from a hike we took to the base of a hidden waterfall outside of Medellin with Sonya and some of her friends from Medellin.

Here are a few more frames that I particularly like from a recent trip to Colombia. Looking at the film always give me a nostalgic feeling and makes me feel like the photos were taken 50 years ago and were just rediscovered in a shoebox full of film tucked away in an old attic. These were taken in Salento, Colombia en el valle de Cocora in 2010.

Saturday night I met up with my friends Marc Lecureuil and Asia Lecureuil to go to some clubs and DJ sets in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I didn't make it to either show, but the caravan ride across the bridge allowed for some great audio captures... enjoy
